Kare Hedebrant in "Ofrekventa Frekvenser" (2009)

Post by LegendaryArtist » Thu Oct 06, 2011 7:20 am

Last night I found out Kåre did more films besides "Amors Baller" and "Let The Right One In". He did a short film called "Ofrekventa Frekvenser" in 2009 and played in a small role in a historical crime series(forgot the name) on Swedish TV.
I only found "Ofrekventa Frekvenser" on youtube. His name is Gilbert in the short film. Haha, Gilbert is such a funny and embracing name. So here is the link-------------->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXWy6ndnwZk
I liked it. Really because of Kåre. Hes just sooooooo adorably in every movie he does I just can't get over it. But Some scene were a little bit goofy though.
Tell me what you think of it.
(Yeah, I don't know if anyone has posted this already but I haven't seen "Ofrekventa Frekvenser" on here so I thought I should post it just in case.)
Eli held out his arms, laid them against Oskar's cheeks, brought his face closer.
"Be me a little."
And kissed him.

Nice find. :D
Noticed he acted under the pseudonym "Kåre Hedestad" - anyone know why? Someone (his parents) wanting to shield him from publicity?

Probably a miswriting in the after texts - it's correct in the beginning.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

I guess someone was reading "Män som hatar kvinnor" ("The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"). :D

Hedestad is the town close to Hedeby Island where the sinister Vanger family lives.

Poor Kåre, will he ever escape being bullied.

As I do not speak Swedish I can only follow what I see and use the occasional words that I have picked up from LTROI. So my understanding of the basic plot is as follows.

Gilbert lives with his older step-sister, Ingela, who picks on him. She doesn't like him because his father hooked up with her mother? He fixes the radio that she breaks due to his playing music too loud. He discovers that the radio can grant his wishes or bring drawings to life. He creates a Golem figure which goes to deal with his step-sister but decides to prevent the Golem from killing her. She wakes up and is as unpleasant as usual. He gets a new radio and his sister starts being nice to him.

Am I anywhere close to being right?

I Don't know why but I found the cereal scene highly amusing

Also in "Amor's baller" plays a character who comes out on top in the end.
