Thanks to Facebook, nowadays everything boils down to 10.000 "friends" (people whose FB account you are linked to), 200 drinking-and-dancing buddies (both male and female) and one or several girls (or boys) to bone on regular base.

While I haven't had a girlfriend in years (the more so as my slightly maniacal inclinations tend to keep girls away from me, anyway), I must say that I don't miss it a single bit. My best friend is female and precisely because she is engaged, I have a much more personal relationship to her than I would probably have to a gf.

How old are you? I'm 18 btw(19 next month). But I understand what you're saying about "the only kind of love they understand is sexual". Everyone is so perverted about everything it's not even funny. Simply hugging on someone can be more satisfying than sex sometimes.

Strange how things can change within a year. Looking back to what I wrote last August, refusing the mere thought of a relationship, and in what situation I am now, things have really taken an interesting turn .

I feel lonely, but in a different, way. I know exactly why I don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend or anything like that. I tend to oush people away out of fear. I have trubule letting the right one in to put it that way.
But LTROI makes us realise that there's so much more to love than sex. And also that it has no bounderies. A glimse of hope in my case.
