well, the thing is if Eli doesn't get you, Oskar will, he's the jealous type
But wow your dream was cool.

By the way, having nowhere else to write this, you probably won't be seeing me here for a while since my arms will not allow it. This also means that the epilouge to my fanfiction will be delayed, this actually beeing the cause of my problems to begin with. Having written too much, half of it even by hand, my arms could take no more. So, giving them a holiday I only asked my sister to write this for me so that all of you will know. I might be back tomorrow or in a couple of weeks, who knows when... Also, if anybody feels like taking a trip to Blackeberg please pm me!
Ouch. Very sorry to hear that, get well soon!

Maybe Eli was testing you. To fear Eli is to fear death. Therefore, perhaps, you cannot truly accept her as a friend until you accept your own mortality and let go of that fear?
oh maybe Eli just really doesn't know him and wouldn't care.
Of course.

Your best shot would be to say something like 'Hi, Elias - would you like to buy a pint of blood? We could make it a regular thing.'
Bli mig lite.

I dreamed a hamburger was eating me!
Seriously though, Eli is a seriously loose cannon and, as Stefan knows, she'd kill you with no second thought if she felt threatened.
That's why I like her so much.

How many times have we wished we could go back in time to ask some of the most interesting people(Alexander the great, Napoleon, Hitler, Bruce Lee, Gandi, Stalin etc) questions about themselves. Or people in fiction also. The problem is we don't imagine how they would react to us! Lol Because just as Eli said when I said I know her....she replied I DON'T KNOW YOU. One thing I will never forget is yes she/he is very pretty but creepy looking...she did not look friendly at all.

I posted this in another thread but the only dream I ever had about LTROI was that Eli was tapping on my window while I was in bed asking to come in. I replied, "Nah I gotta get some sleep" and went back to sleep. After I woke up I felt like kicking myself the whole day.

Btw, hello everyone I'm back! :D
"Can we die?" "Of course we can." Eli put his hand on his heart, felt the slow beats. Maybe it was because he was a child. Maybe that was why he hadn't put an end to it. The pangs of conscience were weaker than his will to live.

Well I can only remember two dreams that I had about Eli and Oskar. One is when I saw them in an apartment and they were moving something. In the other dream I was at a party and Eli was looking for me and I kept hiding. I got inside the house and into a room and Eli found me but I got out through the window and I got out. I then ran to a boat and got in. In the dream I was angry when she found me and seeing Eli brought no joy.

cory wrote:That was my scary dream about Eli. It was so real that when I woke up for 5 minutes I thought it happened. This dream made me realize that to Oskar Eli is his best friend and true love that would do anything for him. But to anyone else a nightmare.
It seems your nightmare reflects something that I have believed for a long time. Everyone is in danger around Eli - even Oskar. In the novel, Virginia only lasts a day or so before she goes hunting for Gösta - in the movie it seems about the same. In the hospital, Virginia tells Lacke that if she weren't restrained, she would try to eat him. The hunger for blood is always threatening to overwhelm Virginia, and therefore it must be the same for Eli as well. Oskar - and Håkan and Tommy - are only protected by Eli's fierce determination to hold on to his humanity. In spite of inconceivable cruelty inflicted upon Eli, he somehow retains the best part of what he was despite two centuries of misery.

Only JAL could craft such a role model out of such a monster - or is it such a monster out of such a role model? In any case, I believe that, as in your dream, Eli is a constant threat to anyone within reach. Apparently some part of you believes this as well. ;)
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

I agree; reading your account was like reading a mini-fan fiction, the narration was very easy to visualize. And speaking of fan fiction...

Sorry to hear of your troubles, GoV. Felt under the weather myself recently, so I sympathize. Get better soon.

I'm glad you said that, a_c_l; here I've been thinking I'm probably the only Infected who's never had a dream about LTROI. Nothing, no dream, no nightmare, nada. For me, very odd. Thanks for making me feel...less odd. ;)
