Review of LTROI Play in Uppsala (here be spoilers)

Re: Review of LTROI Play in Uppsala (here be spoilers)
I think that's a hospital gown. So my guess is Hakan.
Re: Review of LTROI Play in Uppsala (here be spoilers)
I'm pretty sure that is Håkan. (I believe someone who saw the play has confirmed this somewhere around here.)

It is Håkan. I remember someone (think it was editrice) said.
For the heart life is simple. It beats as long as it can.

I just stumbled onto this thread. What a fantastic idea for a play. Love the minimal set design. This unfortunately will never make it to the states so I'll just have look at the photos. Thanks for posting all the info.

Re: Review of LTROI Play in Uppsala (here be spoilers)
Excuse me for resurrecting such an old thread, but I just saw the play. I think it is great
.
I especially like the actors of Oskar and Håkan. In Oskar's case I would barely notice that an adult was playing him if I did not already know. This interpretating of Håkan might be different, he seems rather young for the role, but he really catches the tragic nature of the character, at least in my view
. Another thing worth mentioning is that I thought the voice of the girl who played Eli sounded a bit like Elif's.
I am also glad that I finally saw a live action zombie Håkan. I liked the malicious atmosphere in the flashback scene, and especially Oskar's shocked reaction to it. It is also worth mentioning that most of the dialogue was closer to the book than the film. Meaning that we do get a reveal of Eli's true name.
I agree with everything Editrice said, though Håkan seem to have improved since then. I reccomend every infected who can to see this play. I would also like to hear if any other infected were present on the play today

Taped? I want to see it translated into English and live on stage at a local theater.a_contemplative_life wrote:I wonder if it will ever be videotaped?
I went back and read the review and I should add that Editrice writes brilliantly in English. I like this description of Eli: "an awakening to a friendship and love long forgotten."
I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Well, thank you. I'm quite flattered. (Although growing up bilingual, my English really should be better. But just think of me as a proficient Swede and it makes me look a genius.)gattoparde59 wrote:

Glad to hear one of you saw it and liked it as well!

Or better yet, as mentioned above, translated into English and performed on stage in other countries
Either way I REALLY want to see this.
