Yes, I know, I do not appreciate remakes either but how else are you going to make a top 10 list with only LtROI.

I don't know, but since LMI hardly qualifies for any top 10 list of mine*, you'd need another 9 remakes at a minimum.

* well, maybe top spot for 'most shameful case of plagiarism in film history'

Anyway, back on topic:

...When you look at your iTunes playlist and realize the Soundtrack has been played over a 1,000 times, because you just can't get enough of Johan's beautiful music.

Has anyone purchased any of Soderqvist's music from other films? I have "Two Fathers," "Jorgen's Afraid," "Father & Daughter," and "Memorylane 3" from "After the Wedding," and "Ice" from "Brothers." These sort of augment my LTROI music (as does "Forsonade"). :)

Okay I have another one

...when you realize you have

-3 different editions of the book (all because you both wanted back ups just in case and you liked the different covers  )
-3 different editions of the film (the original 'terrible' American release, Madman Region 4 DVD, and the 'new' UK Blu Ray packaging)
-A poster framed on your wall (right next to the signed Park Chan Wook Oldboy Poster)
-A Blu Ray Copy of Let Me In
-A digital downloaded copy of Let Me In from said Blu Ray
-A copy of the LTROI Soundtrack

That's when you know your borderline obsessed :)

True dedication would be to name your new-born Eli or Oskar, as homage to one's infection.
Has that happened yet?
Just a matter of time. :o

Edit - or perhaps Elifan. But that would be too cruel, particularly if the child became overweight. Image

I have thought about that, for.. You know, the future ;) And I deside that the child shall be named Eli, it wouldn't matter if it was a boy or a girl. Cause Eli is a name for both :D

Actually its funny...my best friend had a kid this year...she had a baby girl, but back when they weren't sure what it was I was asking them if they had thoughts of names? At the time they were really hoping for a boy and one of the names they had picked was Elias...no joke, I of course laughed (granted they knew why and didn't take offence). I laughed so loud. Yes this person has read LTROI and seen LTROI (after my much persisting), they ended up having a girl and naming her Samantha...but it did give me a nice laugh to hear them at one point considering the name Elias (even though it was unintentional...she just happened to like the name Elias)

You know the sad thing is, if I ever do end up back in another relationship and that day happens to come where Children may be a possibility...if I could get my in theory spouse to agree...I would so totally name my kid Elias if it were a boy. But since I don't forsee that happening anytime soon...
