Being spoilt doesn't bother me, so I asked drakkar the one thing I really wanted to know! Now me so happy! Then I clicked on everything!
Now I can wait as long as it takes to read the epilogue, comfortable, and secure.
I'm still pissed with the distributors though, I really wanted that bed-time story from Stefl. He did read me Pappersvaggar though, and it was good, but it wasn't the epilogue.

Same with LtODD I think. Clicking the spoilers give you alfa and omega, but then you have the rest of the alphabet in store for your reading. It is a beautiful story, as LtROI simple yet very complex.

I can read it to you as a bed-time story on skype

Thinking about it some more I've come to the conclusion that I hated this. This was suppose to be JAL's end to the story yet it began a completely new one or this was just the begining depending on how you want to look at it. There really needs to be a proper sequel at some point that tells the entire story about Eli and Oskar and with a real ending.

I'm glad that's how it went. A while ago I thought it was the only continuation that made sense. I'll probably have to wait a while for the English edition.

And I love the story! From the top of my head the only close-to-definite-ending I can recall having read from JAL is the Final Handling (epilogue to HtU), so I guess I'm getting used to it.
When i listened to the story yesterday, I got the same feeling as first time I watched LTROI - something had hit me which I didn't understand, and it might take some time to grasp.

Heavy spoilers ahead:
In LTODD the main characters are Stefan and Karin which I regard as a picture of John and Mia. They are resembling them. Stefan and Karin found each other because of Eli and Oskar; Stefan as the train conductor checking Oskar's ticket, and Karin as the police inspector in charge of the investigation. Stefan witnessed Eli and Oskar mixing blood at Karlstad Railroad station (less than an hour after they left the train), and when Stefan demonstrated how they held hands on Karin, that was the start of their long journey together.
Autobiographically, I feel John and Mia links together Stefan&Karin and Eli&Oskar in a magic and most beautiful way.
The narrator works at Blackeberg subway station, and remember Oskar, especially when he went off the subway saturday night looking so outright happy (having fled from his father, on his way to Eli).
The narrator doesn't know Eli, so she is consequently described as "a little girl with dark long hair". Because Eli&Oskar now is viewed from the narrator and Stefan, I feel distanced from them, they are referred to as having an air of predators. Better stay away.
A neat little finesse from JAL is that Eli&Oskar was last spotted in Barcelona October 2008, the same week as the general release of the LTROI film :D

Same here. It reignited my obsession with LTROI which is a problem when I only got like two blurbs about Eli and Oskar which is what LTROI is all about (for me anyways). It wasn't a bad piece of literature but in regards to what LTROI is for me it just served as one big tease.

Hated it?!...Really, you hated it? That is a very strong statement.
I don't know why you would hate it,I myself like the idea that they will always be out there, together and in love for as long as possible.

 So right after they've arrived and left the train... who would've thought that. No, I mean, really. Man, it was fast. John did it. He was able to surprise us, I think. 8-)
This dates Oskar's turning to Friday the 13th, November 1981, right?

Does the story list dates like LTROI did, anyway? And this isn't clear for me, is Stefan the narrator himself?
And we danced, on the brink of an unknown future, to an echo from a vanished past.

I'm glad we didn't bay for JAL's blood.

Seems like it all turned out well.
