Mr. Smith would probably castrate Eli to render a potential rival in love harmless.

I can see that happen :( . Mr Burns actually has been a vampire lord in another halloween episode

That for me surely is Eli's dark sire  .

The first few calls for help I giggled a little bit, but then he gets louder and louder and I laughed harder and harder. Once he started screaming HELP ME!! HELP ME!! I was laughing so hard I started to cry and my stomach was hurting.

I don't mean to sound sadistic it’s just that his voice sounds so funny to me. Since that night, I always giggle to myself at that part.

I also giggle when Hakan hits his head before landing after Eli noms him. BAM!
That's pretty hilarious. With that bounce that snapped his neck and thus no zombie Hakan coming back from the dead.
I have often wondered about that. Do you think they had to do a bunch of takes to get that one where his head hits the awning? They would have had to redo the snow before each take. Or do you think that Tomas just got lucky?
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

Maybe they did it like Kubrick, shot it a hundred times and in the end chose the very first shot  .

It's interesting, TA is directing Dracula himself, Gary Oldman, in the remake of "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" as George Smiley.

The thing that made me laugh was when Oskar asks Eli if she's not cold, she answers no, he asks why and she answers that she forgot how it feels to be cold. The confused look on Oskar's face is hillarious.

I also like the part were Oskar offers Eli some candy which she, after declining first, accepts it even though she know it would make her sick.
then when she was throwing up and afterwards Oskar hugs her...not a funny part, but it was so cute and moving :)
I was caught up in the moment
We were alone and you seemed to harness the light
Even though I felt cold inside
When you told me it would be alright

A fun little thing I noticed seeing the film on the big screen: Oskar's milk glass has a little red cow on it--really cute.

Just a small chuckle really:
A few seconds before Jocke is nommed - the truck passing over the bridge has a picture of a ketchup bottle on it's side.
