I found a review of John's new novel in my local paper today:
http://www.sydsvenskan.se/kultur--nojen ... attstugan/

I won't translate it, you'll have to read it using Google Translate, except for the very last paragraph:
Språket är sparsmakat och exakt och förstärker med små, små skiftningar det obehagliga som håller på att hända – både i fastigheten och i samhället. Ajvide är inte bara mästare i en genre, han snarare är genren.
The language is sparse and precise and reinforces with tiny, tiny shades the unpleasant that is about to happen - both inside the houses and in the community. Ajvide is not only a master of a genre, he rather is the genre.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist
