About the screenplay

Re: About the screenplay
Wow thanks for writing again. You are as welcome as the flowers in spring....all year long. Great behind the scenes stuff too. Much appreciated.

Re: About the screenplay
Hi, John here again.
Just wanted to correct a small misunderstanding.
Tomas was very involved in the script from the beginning. We discussed what to keep from the book, and what not to. The 240-page version was written after these discussions, and I think that we also did a walkthrough, as described, of that script. Then we did another one on the 120-page version. In total, we maybe sat for a week just reading and discussing the script, and those days I fondly remember as one of the most joyeous working periods of my writing career. Tomas is a great guy to be with.
So, with that sorted out, I once again return to the shadows. Or rather to the play I´m writing. It´s finally started working.
Take care.
John

Hello there Mr. Lindqvist!
It sure is great to see you still watching what goes on here.
Love reading your books! Good luck with everything you attempt in the future!

LOOK! It's me, drakkar, and John, just hangin' out!
I've got a beer, you's?

Re: About the screenplay
I suspected that, since you are continuing the good work with Människohamn - Human Harbour. I'm looking forward to the film.johnajvide wrote:Tomas was very involved in the script from the beginning. ....In total, we maybe sat for a week just reading and discussing the script, and those days I fondly remember as one of the most joyeous working periods of my writing career. Re: About the screenplay
Thank you very much for clearing that up John.
I'm glad the play you're working on is working! The thing I'm working on isn't, and it's intensely frustrating. I'll make it work though. It's just not...good enough. In fact it's still in the "this is terribly embarrassing and I would be mortified if someone were to actually read this" stage.
Hopefully some day I might be able to convince someone to pay me for my writing!
You are definitely an influence.

I hope that one day, we get to see an approximate English translation of this early draft
Eli is my oxygen
Oskar is my body
Jocke is my enemy
I will let you in at any hour.
