Now if an industrious Swedish native speaker could provide an accurate translation...

I know Google can sort of do it, but the emphasis is on the "sort of".

not much news really.
- she barely has any contact with the other actors from the movie anymore. just a little bit on facebook.
- if she doesn't become an actor after school she might be a journalist or lawyer.
- she wants to travel and maybe live in africa for a couple of year before starting work (lol why?).

everything else is old that she's been dancing, found the role on stagepool, how long it took to shoot the movie etc.

I processed the PDF thru an OCR program, don't know how accurate it rendered it:

Google Swedish to English translation:
"I'd love to get injured players after school"
Lina got a taste of the role of a vampire

- I have danced and speIat theater ever since I was eight years old. After that I started "gym" for a while, but it quickly got boring, so now it'll probably be dancing again, "says Lina Leandersson who had a leading role in the hit film Let the Right One In. Now it has been some years since Premiair, but Lina hopes to work as an actress in the future.

Lina was a member of a website from Stagepool saw that they looked for an injured player or actress in her age for a film shooting.

Applicants should preferably also be nimble and flexible, said the role would
In other words fit her like a glove. Lina had luck on his side and
I go to Stockholm at the audition and show who she was, and what she could.

First to arrive in Stockholm, she was told that almost 3000 sought the role of bloodthirsty vampires for the film Let the Right One In.

Went on a casting
- I was down to Stockholm three times before I got to meet Tomas Alfredsson, who directed the film, and only the fourth time I got to meet Kare Hede Brandt, my opponent "Oskar". Naturligtv ice was jattenervost information casting, but I thought only I do my best, then I will do as it wishes with the rest, I thought.

- I did enough good impression, because I was the one who probably got
straw and got the part, "says Lina and shines all over his face.

Alfredsscn director
The film was shot in both Umeå and Stockholm, and it took three months to play 1n the almost two-hour movie. Lina knew nothing about what would happen ifor each taging, the barn, she is told by Tomas Alfredsson when shooting would be done. Lina think it was for that 1nte she would load a script beforehand 0ch interpret the scene in their own way.

Want to travel after skclan
- There was no problem with recording, everyone was saying how good and cute as anything, that I've been clear, the ninth grade in Falun, I intend to apply for schools in Stockholm to the esthetic line, and then should I look for drama school. Unfortunately I have no contact with the injured players from
the movie longer, just a bit on Facebook.

- Is there film in the future said, I can imagine to be a journalist or maybe even a lawyer. It also seems interesting, I think. But before I start working I will go out and travel around the world first, mainly to Africa. Dar, it almost feels like I could live naget s, we'll see what happens, it is after all a few years left in school, "says Lina.

Thanks for the translation, abner_mohl.

"Injured player" must be "actor". As with all these translation services, there are funny glitches. If you've looked at English translations of much that is written in Swedish about Lina, you know her name usually translates as "rope".

Good work, Team Eli. In less than 12 hours from the time of the original post, we all had access to a PDF, and translation, of the newspaper article.

Edited to add: A good friend of mine's daughter is just finishing up 3 months in Africa as part of her college experience. She loved it and learned a great many things about herself and the world. It would be a good thing for Lina or any young person who has such an opportunity.

One hilarious mistranslation is Per Ragnar as Spalding Gray, the name of the American playwright, and actor.

You probably meant Jon Lord, ex-Deep Purple organist, but unfortunately and certainly surprisingly it's not me

I'd say the days of her being passed off as a boy, if they ever existed, are behind her...
