A story like this, when it ends, demands a surprise ending; one that no one else in their wildest imagination would ever think of.

Fortunately for me, I'm not the one who has to find that particular ending. :D

This latest chapter does a nice job of capturing Oskar's feelings.

He watched, paralyzed with fear, as she simply hung there, sitting halfway up, moaning with her mouth jutting open, swaying slightly as her body continued to jerk. She reminded him of deep water lantern fish he’d seen on a nature program; the ones with the enormous, fanged mouths and silvery, scary eyes.

I LOVE the lanternfish simile -- it effortlessly evokes the darkness, the vacant expression, the eyes dimly lit with cold light, the teeth, the otherworldliness... Brilliant.

On your new Chapter 12 -- Regression: Chilling, cold, and very realistically written!! I see you have (at least temporarily) "surrendered to the dark side!" :) Will Oskar return home and risk what may be waiting for him? Tune in next time (I hope its soon!)

EDIT: I am impressed with your ability to maintain character consistancy, even with these jolting changes of mood from chapter to chapter. What on earth do you do for a living?? You may be in the wrong field!
May this house be safe from tigers.

I was shivering together with Oskar :) soooo "dark and evil" chapter  but I hope some "light and good" chapter is ahead

Bravo! Another fine chapter! Horrorful!
I want to know what Oskar's been doing all that time though! How has he been occupying his time?
You should do a Brian Lumley and come out with the "Lost Chapters" after (if? ;) ) your main plotline runs it's course.
Another fine read!
