Re: Reading Let The Right One In reading book comments
Spoilers ahead!
I just finish the prologue.
I like the shock that the trucker driver felt when he was told about what the two people that he had moved to Blackeberg had done. He was all happy talking yeah it was a man and his daughter. Then he asks why and after he is told what happens he feels like what! Then he looks at his handwriting were he wrote the date tha confirms to him that yes he helped them moved!

I felt sad for Oskar since he only wants someone to love him. That is why he raised his hand to answer the question that the police man ask. Even though later he was going to get beaten by the bullies.
Also wander what would have happened if Hakan had decided to stay on the subway and not gone to the forest.

Hakan is clumsy but finally manages to get his victim. I like the process of how things are not easy for Hakan and what he is about to do. Hakan's view of love that in order to love someone one must offer their own life which later in the story he does.
Also about the different paths for Oskar and Hakan. Oskar had friends but then things change for him when he begin to be bully in 5th grade. How now he has to wait for someone to call him for if they want to play. His obssesion with his scrap book and how that is the only thing that makes him happy. That he to could be a murderer in the future too.

Is funny how Oskar's mom is worried about him not going into the woods because of the Vallingby murder and Oskar is only interested in getting the newspaper and reading the article about the murder.
This is the first time that I notice that Oskar's mom knows about the articles that he reads. Maybe she also knows about his scrap book.

When Oskar encounters Eli in the courtyard. In their first meeting I feel like they are checking out each other. Also maybe Eli was curious about Oskar since she saw him with his knife through the window before and decided to come outside in case Oskar came out.
Hakan at the library. Read through that part quickly since is one of the part of the book I do not like. Only thought that Hakan maybe knows that Eli is a boy.

My thought of the library thing was: Does that sh*t really exsist?

I like how Oskar kept waiting for Eli to come outside. That he is beginning to get curious about her. That he was spying on her even though he does not want to admit it. That even though he finds Eli strange he still wants to know her and lets her borrow the Rubik's cube just to have a chance to see her again.

I wonder that too.intrige wrote:My thought of the library thing was: Does that sh*t really exsist?
Everytime I read the library part my mind goes blank and I just read it and forget about it.
