LTROI 13th Anniversary Wine

Post by andmker » Fri Jan 29, 2021 3:42 pm

Hello everyone :)

This year is the 13th Anniversary of our favourite movie where we got to meet Oskar and Eli.

I'm thinking about having a "special anniversary" red wine made in honor of that - and offering it exclusively to members of this forum and its Facebook page.

This is what I've come up with and I personally think it's pretty cool :)

Would anyone be interested in buying a bottle or two - if I was to get a few cases made?

The cost to deliver in the UK would be about £28.00 a bottle. If anyone overseas is interested I could look at shipping and custom costs and get back to you.

The breakdown of the cost (£11.00 for the wine, £2.50 for the labels, £7.50 for the engraved metal tag, £5.00 postage & packing, £2.00 for me to walk to the post office and wait in line :) )

Let me know what you all think.

I don't really care for wine, but I'd love to have an empty bottle if that's doable!

Yeah, I can drink a bottle and then send it 🙂

What do you drink? If there's enough demand I can make a vodka or whisky lol

I drink vodka, but im not sure about the legality of international shipping of alcohol in to the US. Regarding, I'd be more than happy with just the bottle.

Cool 😎. Would you prefer an empty vodka bottle? Might take me longer to drink it lol. But I imagine it would look better as you could fill it up with something else

I've gotten a bit of feedback which is always good 👍

There will be a back label for the wine (just haven't finished it yet lol). It will contain a bit of information about LTROI as well as a thank you to John Ajvide Lindqvist.

There won't be a white band at the top of the label as I've corrected that.

I should be able to post to most counties but the UK leaving the EU has been a nightmare for so many things so I'll check on a country by country basis if needed.

I hope in the future when things return to normal that the LTROI actors will do some comic/horror conventions near me and I can give them a bottle in person 😀

Is that so? Well happy Valentine's day with a couple of old wishes:

Oskar: You smell like road kill
You're not even a girl.
So why, Valentine, is my heart all a twirl?

Eli: If you will be my Valentine,
I will be your...
Oh, never mind. I just won't kill you.
