The 'Lina Cut'
As you know Lina's voice was dubbed for the final cut of the film. Does the original audio with her dialogue still exist? Since it would it just be a matter of adding a new audio track it might make for an interesting special feature if there's ever a re-release (like Criterion).
No banaaaanas?

That would be fun to hear. But given that LTROI isn't a popular blockbuster that would attracting a making-of/behind the scenes bonus DVD, our chances of hearing something like that seems unlikely.

It's a nice dream which will probably never come true.
I would just like to see the Swedish film become
a part of Criterion Collection....

There are interviews of Lina like one year after filming, so you can get a pretty good idea of what she sounded like. But sadly, her original voice in the film can not be obtained.

Well it's probable LTROI will get a Criterion release someday and they generally go all-out even with small indie/foreign films. I guess it would just depend if the producers kept anything.a_contemplative_life wrote:That would be fun to hear.
