I indeed needed that. Thanks!
We never stop reading, although every book comes to an end, just as we never stop living, although death is certain. (Roberto Bolaño)

Just what I needed this morning!
Q: at about 7:40 in the clip, she mentions the sort of books she was reading then, as an 11 year old. Could somebody say what or who she is referring to? She says the names very quickly, too quickly for my ears.
btw - now that I know a bit of Swedish this is a good clip to watch and listen to. When I saw this some time ago, none of it was comprehensible to me other than her "yup" and similar easy responses. Now I find I'm following much more of the conversation and am not watching the translation.

I'm guessing she's referring to the children's adventure series, Eva & Adam by Måns Gahrton. I don't know what age level they are written for, but pretty young I'd say from the illustrations.gkmoberg1 wrote:Q: at about 7:40 in the clip, she mentions the sort of books she was reading then, as an 11 year old. Yes, indeed she is.dongregg wrote: I'm guessing she's referring to the children's adventure series, Eva & Adam by Måns Gahrton. I don't know what age level they are written for, but pretty young I'd say from the illustrations.
Here's a Wikipedia article.
Being rather unfamiliar with Eva & Adam, I had to google around a little. I learnt that they started as a comic in the Swedish youth magazine Kamratposten, which is aimed towards kids "between 8 and 15". Eva & Adam themselves are in the middle of that span.
Eva & Adam have since appeared in books, comic albums, and a TV-series.
