When Matt Reeves was approached about doing an American version of Let The Right One In, he says the studio types initially talked about increasing the age of the lead characters. He said that was a bad idea and they backed down. But what if they'd approached a different writer/director, one not so in tune with the story's heart? Just how mind-bogglingly bad could it have turned out? Well....

From the looks in their eyes and their facial expressions, it looks to me like "he'll keep her safe" because what's really on his mind is what's open at that hour that might have a "family planning" section.

Ah creepy. At least they look happy together. I would have liked if David Lynch had directed the remake. That would have been interesting.
