Even if with a time machine or something we could get her 12-year-old self to do it, I think she looks too freaky for the part. Abby/Eli do things that are sufficiently terrible in and of themselves, for balance someone with the 'dark angel' look (Lina at twelve) is ideal, someone who is good-looking and also tough-looking can work (Chloe), etc, but I don't think freaky is a good idea.
