Star Seeker.com is predicting LMI will gross about $40 million at the box office.

I think it will do about 30 Mil...just below expectations, it will probably be respectable...but yeah I'd say about 30 Mil

not even hollywood is cynical enough to make a sequel just for the money if the source material is a one-shot. If it does well, there might be more movies based off of other JAL's books, that's all.

Well, going by how disappointing the year went so far in terms of box office hits, I guess this might as well be the blockbuster of the year (not counting in Twilight: Eclipse, of course).

You'd be surprised at what Hollywood is capable of when it comes down to money.
