Found this LTROI inspired song, I think?

Post by intrige » Thu May 19, 2016 2:25 am

MONSTER

Wandering restless through the night
Looking for the love that bleeds
Then disappears into the shaddows
Before the morning sun glows

Draws back from open locations
Like a ''shot hurt'' animal
Always kills the one she loves
Such is a vampire's nature

Monster seek other monsters
Sends in personal ads
& wish for response

The vampire lacks mirror image
Sleeps alone in her chest
Promies herself solemn (costly and holy)
That each victim will be the last

Who would grieve for her
Sad eyes, ice cold skin
Who would console and forgive
Let 'the right one' in

Monster seek other monsters
Sends in personal ads
& wish for response

From some monster seeking other monsters
Reads the personal ad
& writes back

Because the monster seeks other monsters
Sends in personal ads
& wishes for response

Honestly, I think if any swedish songwriter decides to write about vampires in any way, they have this secret code with everyone else that they have to say something like: Let the right one in, in the lyrics.

Because there are a few now.. Who have done this.

AND I FOUND THIS RANDOMLY, I LOVE THE INTERNET.

I think it would be safe to assume that it was.

Some trivia:

Ulrik Munther has starred in a movie, Efterskalv, in which also Inger Nilsson, a.k.a. Pippi Longstocking participated.

The lyrics are apparently penned by Jonas Gardell, a Swedish comedian and writer.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

Gyah, Eik! Great lyrics and great idea. I've got to get back into Internet search mode, like how I found this forum three years ago! :D
“For drama to deepen, we must see the loneliness of the monster and the cunning of the innocent.”
