This info is very early in the game so future changes are likely.
John Ajvide Lindqvist's terrific short story Border which appeared in the anthology Let The Old Dreams Die reportedly will be turned into a motion picture. Director currently attached to the project is first timer Ali Abbasi. Film is being produced by Nina Bisgaard of Meta Film from Denmark. The film will be a Denmark/Sweden co-production.
Stay tuned for further news.

Exciting news, of course. But, John, couldn't you go into a long, Eli-like sleep and wake up with the complete adventures of Oskar and Eli between Karlstad and Barcelona?

Nice!

As long as it gets released outside of Scandinavia.

But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

I'll go to any film based on one of JAL's stories, no questions asked.

Hello, there.
New member, first contribution.
I borrowed a librarycopy of "Let The Old Dreams Die" at the weekend.
Just finished reading the above.
It's excellent !
Dubious about it being turned into a movie, though.
Keep up the great posts ;-O
Brian.

Add my welcome to Mikallein's!

I enjoyed reading "LTODD" so much, but I only read one other story in the collection. I've reread the short story several times. It is beautifully written.

I look forward to more of your posts. You're in the right place!

Oh, and you wrote that you are "a terrible infected," but I think you are terribly infected! :)
