I don't wonder that Tiffany's play is being a success wherever it lands. He obviously understands the heart of this story.Because ultimately, for Tiffany, that’s what Let the Right One In is really about. The whole undead thing? That’s “secondary to the love story. I think it’s a play about two troubled lonely teenagers who find solace in each other, and one of them happens to be a vampire.”
The link to us is very cool, but my main feeling is indescribable envy of those of you who are going to see it in New York.
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

Oh, Woofie. We'll scream and clap really loud in case that helps get it to a West Coast venue.Wolfchild wrote:...The link to us is very cool, but my main feeling is indescribable envy of those of you who are going to see it in New York.
“For drama to deepen, we must see the loneliness of the monster and the cunning of the innocent.”

Read more here. This is sure to find approval with die-hard fans of the book and film, who call themselves "the infected" and who Tiffany is hoping to please. "You can always tell when they're in the audience," he says, adding that he wanted to "stay true" to the original texts in many ways.
