What is Omheten based on?

Is Lina's film Omheten based on a book or a play? Anybody know?

I can't find anyhting on it, I don't think so. But I am not too sure. Maybe we'll find out, when the movie comes out ;)

From what I understand "Tenderness"( Ömheten) is based on original screenplay written by film's director Sofia Norlin. It also appears that it's available in on DVD at least in Sweden.

Sigh! I am disappointed. I was hoping to add to my reading list.

I hope they release Omheten at some point with English subtitles. I am one of those who have
