A few children were still sliding down the hill on their Snowracers between Björnsongatan and the little field next to the park road. Death Hill, it was called for some reason.

Eli crossed Björnsonsgata, continued into the courtyard between the nine-storey buildings...
No one were around, but there was light coming from the gymnasium..
..and Eli slithered up the fire escape ladder, looked in.

Eli jumped a couple of metres up unto the trunk of the tree, dug in her claws and climbed up to a thick branch that hung out over the path.
Virginia walked away from the building, down to the park, and did not turn around.

Great pics!! I've bought a Pentax K5 recently, mostly for its video capability, but I must admit I'm impressed with these shots.
Re: Blackeberg pictures in context
It is top notch (especially for the sensor size, APS-C) when it comes to taking pictures in low light. It was so dark in the courtyard that I needed light from GoV's mobile screen to see the distance markings on the lens. Thanks, GoV!crazychristina wrote:Great pics!! Thanks, Drakkar and GoV for posting these new Blackeberg pictures. They were thoroughly enjoyable!

It was very nice to see the place "properly", dark and covered in snow! Still a pleasant place IMO.
Here is the view shot in front of the film China window - Virginia tree in the background:
..and a repost of a couple of shots of Blackeberg market place:

"They were searching all of Judarn forest. Five police dogs, twenty officers. Even one helicopter, unusual for this type of search. One wounded, dazed man. A single canine unit should have been able to track him down. But the stakes were raised in part because of the high media profile of the case (two officers had been assigned simply to handle all the reporters crowding around Weibull's nursery next to the Akeshov subway station) and they wanted to demonstrate that the police were putting in the maximum effort even on a Sunday morning."
Not Blackeberg but in some context. Quite my type of place actually.
