So I've talked a bit about Suntup's editions of the novel. This is the lettered edition that's currently making the rounds to customers. (This isn't my copy; there's no way I could afford it). It was limited to only 26 copies and the original price was $2,500. It has goatskin binding, a leather cover and wooden 'Rubik cube' inlay. Content-wise it's the same as the other books so you aren't missing anything in terms of writing or illustrations. Just thought some of you might get a kick out of seeing it.
Lettered edition
Re: Lettered edition
Not a fan of the red, blue, and green on the case(?). I see what they were going for with making it look like a cube, but a mix of bright colors like that doesn't do a good job of representing the story, I think. The actual cover is very nice, though. A simple black, white, and red (like on the original Swedish cover) is the color scheme that best represents the tale in my mind.
De höll om varandra i tystnad. Oskar blundade och visste: detta var det största. Ljuset från lyktan i portvalvet trängde svagt in genom hans slutna ögonlock, la en hinna av rött för hans ögon. Det största.
Re: Lettered edition
The edition is even more beautiful in reality than the pictures show.

Oh, hi there. Didn't realize you had an account here.

Re: Lettered edition
That's quite the understatement
"For a few seconds Oskar saw through Eli’s eyes. And what he saw was … himself. Only much better, more handsome, stronger than what he thought of himself. Seen with love."
