As a footnote to this discussion, Let The Old Dreams Die is also available in Kindle format in the UK, obviously it is cheaper than the book.

One thing I would like to know is this; can people in the US buy kindle books from the UK site if they haven't yet been released in the US? (which it hasn't been)

Is 'Let the Old Dreams Die' not available in the US? Im in Tejas and placed a pre order on it through amazon, awhile back, and got a hardback when it came out. Did i luck out? If so, i think this feeling i feel may be equal to what it may be like to own a piece of adamantium.

You sure it wasn't Amazon.UK? That's where I got my copy. US Amazon doesn't offer that book.

Ooh. Im sure your right. I had just done a search after reading something about it to try and find a copy. Realized it wasnt out yet and just threw my money at the interwebs for a preoreder. At that point and even so now, money was no hinderence in my thought process of purchasing it. i was pretty excited, I probably didnt notice the pound mark,
