I have a walk-in closet that should be dark enough during the day, and hiding them would be pretty easy when they're in. Problem would be coming and going, it would be pretty much impossible to do so discreetly (busy street, etc), though some suitable cover story would help. But Oskar would certainly stand out around here, and also their laundry would be problematic.

I would rent out a room to them. I know they have the money! I know of a few people who would "volunteer" themselves as dinner! :D I agree that rural America would be a good place for them to live but the only problem is that in Rural America there isn't a lot of food for them. In some places, people live so few are are far between that grocery shopping would be difficult for them. In small towns, the neighbors tend to be more nosy and the townspeople would definitely notice when people from the town would go, "missing." Sure, the people could chalk it up to them getting lost in the forest, but for how long? I think Rural America would only be a temporary abode for them!

I suppose I could handle a couple of vampires. I don't have any pets, although some relatives next door do have a lot of cats. The cats never come on my property, though. But that might be because of the ghost I've had living here for quite a few years now (seriously!) If the vampires could handle the ghost, they should be OK. And if they don't occasionally mind munching on the occasional bear, that would be a plus. We have too many bears scrounging around as it is, and a slight reduction in their numbers might be nice.

I really don't think the ghost would be a problem. He is part of a package deal. I bought an antique radio several years ago, and apparently I also bought the original owner as well (deceased). His name and address are written inside of the radio cabinet, so I know who he is. Or rather, was. :D

 In his day, TV was rare to non-existent (this radio is from about 1950 and rather expensive for its day), so he probably did listen a lot.

I don't think I'll be buying any more second-hand electronics. One ghost is plenty.

I have found the perfect place for Oskar and Eli,...it's in the Carpathian mountians, nice away from all the hassle the city and it's light-sensitive hemoglobin-dependent person friendly.

I'm sure they could find something to eat, since it is ran by good old Vlad the Impaler ;)
I'm pretty sure they could get a reservation or even a job there.

I have a room in the basement with no windows that would make a perfect daytime sleeping spot. But, I work at night so I'd never get to see them :(
