I think the best way to watch this is to forget it has any connection to LtROI at all.
Well, if this is the case,
Kretschmann will play Inspector Eriksson, a foreign police officer who partners up with the FBI, who’s been on the trail of Eli and her protector and enabler for a decade, and thinks they have killed over 100 victims. He has been a few steps behind his quarry all along, having followed the exsanguination murderers across Europe to North America. He knows their methods, but does not yet know their faces and names.
then perhaps the police will provide some comedic relief, as they'll probably be like those bumbling fellows in some of the Hammer films from the 60's and 70s. ;)
Yes, all done to the theme from the Pink Panther.Inspector Erikson chases the hapless duo with his foot still caught in the bucket.Or the police procedural?..Vampirism from the fangs point of view. With a catchy screaming guitar intro from the Who.To be honest I'm getting really excited about this.I'm a sucker for anything vaguely related to LTROI.The good, the bad and the ugly. And if it gets more people interested and infected it can only be a good thing. :D

Wonderful Norwegian actor Kristoffer Joner has been cast as Eli's caretaker by the name Matheus Volk, aka Håkan in the novel. Wait, isn't Kristine Froseth also from Norway? :)

The Revenant actor Kristoffer Joner has joined the cast of the drama from executive producer Jeff Davis, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The pilot is based on the best-selling Swedish book by John Ajvide Lindqvist that was subsequently adapted into the critically acclaimed 2008 movie directed by Tomas Alfredson. It's an eerie drama about a young boy named Henry (Benjamin Wadsworth), long tormented by his classmates, who finds solace in a friendship with a charismatic female vampire named Eli (Kristine Froseth) who appears to be near his age. The vampire settles into the boy's small town with her mysterious caretaker, just as a series of bizarre murders begins attracting the attention of law enforcement.

Joner will play the series-regular role of Matheus Volk, Eli's protector and enabler, the sad man who keeps her well-supplied with fresh blood. He's been doing this feral work for 10 years, and he's gotten very good indeed at trapping his victims, exsanguinating them and staying one step ahead of the law. Weary and cold, Matheus is just sick enough of this life to get sloppy for one brief moment.

It looks like we have our Tommy.
Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce‘s Necar Zadegan and Cameron Gellman (20th Century Woman) have joined the cast of Jeff Davis’ TNT drama pilot Let the Right One In. Based on the best-selling novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist, Let the Right One In is an eerie drama about a young boy, long tormented by his classmates, who finds solace in a friendship with a charismatic female vampire who appears to be near his age. The vampire settles into the boy’s small town with her mysterious caretaker, just as a series of bizarre murders begins attracting the attention of law enforcement. Zadegan will play the series regular role of FBI Special Agent Sarah Church, who heads to the Canadian border after three border patrol agents are found, all of them exsanguinated. She soon learns that a remarkably sly and deadly serial killer has been carving a bloody swathe across Europe for the last decade, and has now relocated to North America. Gellman will recur as Kyle an attractive bad boy, who, despite appearances, is not a bully; in fact, he’s quite friendly to Henry, and thinks he should try being a bit more aggressive with his teenage tormentors. Zadegan is repped by Elevate Entertainment and attorney Chad Christopher. Gellman is with Smith & Hervey/Grimes Talent Agency & Elevate Entertainment.

Curious to see how long it takes for the cool logo to show up as a jigsaw puzzle.

Hoping for production pics. Which isn't likely anytime soon. Unless you happen go be in the area of Vancouver. Which I am not.

Yeh, that was quick. It's as if I read your mind. Or did you read mine? 8-)
