Yes, Kyle is Tommy from the novel, literally. :D

Here's a description of Tommy from the novel on page 16
Tommy looked at Oskar as if to evaluate his worthiness, then handed over the remote, pointing at his upper lip.

"You been hit? You've got blood. There."

Oskar wiped his lip. A few brown crusts came off on his index finger.

"No, I just. . ."

Don't tell. There was no point. Tommy was three years older, a tough guy. He would only say something about fighting back and Oskar would say "sure" and the end result would be that he lost even more respect in Tommy's eyes.

Yeah! :) Hmm... I wonder if they'll include the Yvonne/Staffan subplot. It would be interesting to see that get adapted for once.

It's interesting how much actress Dakota Guppy, the 12 year old TV Eli, resembles Chloe Moretz's Abby from LMI.

I can't navigate the site for some reason. My only question is, is Lina Leandersson going to be a part of the series? Because that'd be epic :D

Yes, that would be 'epic' !! Not likely though. But let's add it to our Wish List should they stop by for ideas.

Looks like we're getting the Renfield theory again.

My comment on the thread at bloody disgusting:

Yeah, funny. Too funny. The director of the "Let Me In" rip off didn't get it either. The real deal in the "Let the Right One In," the novel and the film, is that Oskar (Henry) and Eli are two lonely kids who bond fiercely. No seduction, just a romance in which one of the protagonists happens to be a vampire.

Oh well. Whatever sells, right? Too bad "Let Me In" didn't sell too well while "Let the Right One In" still has legs. I and a few friends will be seeing the play (no Dracula, no seduction) in Austin in January. Some of us saw it in Brooklyn. The Jack Thorne script also had good runs in Scotland and in London. Did I mention "no seduction?"
“For drama to deepen, we must see the loneliness of the monster and the cunning of the innocent.”

Oh I'm sad and disappointed. I started to get a little hopeful.Renfield?.Have they really seen the movie or read the book? How could they get it so wrong?.If they just had the courage to make a quality series of gentle unconditional love rather than the dross we see on TV it would pay in the long run.Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.There.I've vented..lol..PS..so jealous of you guys seeing the play..have fun.I know you will. :D
Please Oskar.Be me for a little while.
