Re: First Screening Impressions of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier,
I really want to see this movie so badly. And with Alfredson's attention to every little detail is going to be a real plus. After this I am really looking forward to his next project, which I believe is the big budget steampunk fantasy Larklight, which is suppose to have a budget north of 100 million dollars, I can't wait to see what he can do with a budget of that magnitude. I think he has the potential to be as important as say Peter Jackson.

...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

Should have rephrased it, to have the clout and prestige of a Spielberg, Scorsese or Jackson in being able to pick and choose his projects like they do.Wolfchild wrote:He already is.abner_mohl wrote:I think he has the potential to be as important as say Peter Jackson.
