You should have told me to begin with. Now I wasted the time I had reserved for translating stuff on something no-one wanted.

Oh, I was just setting him up for the joke that I would have translated Tjärven for him if he just had been more clear with what he wanted.abner_mohl wrote:It's never wasted . Does anyone know if Tjarven will receive any translations later, or is it going to remain exclusively swedish?

As far as I know it was only released as an audio book and was not very popular, so English translation does not appear to be in the immediate future...Raven Eyes wrote:Does anyone know if Tjarven will receive any translations later, or is it going to remain exclusively swedish?

Sad, ain't it that us English speaking fans won't get our own translation. But such is the free market system.

Maybe it's time to start learning Swedish???????????? I have only read the English versions of Let The Right One In and Handling The Undead, although it's not too hard to read the Swedish version of LTROI when you have read the English version 10 times beforehand... It was a lot harder reading Människohamn for the first time, and I managed to spill airplane food all over it on the way home from Göteborg. Tjärven is good, but it didn't grip me in the same way as some of the others, which is a way that I would call heartbreaking (and if if my heart is to be broken, then gladly by a good book!).
