Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Anyone got any New Year's Resolutions that they'll actually keep?

We never stop reading, although every book comes to an end, just as we never stop living, although death is certain. (Roberto Bolaño)

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I could say quit smoking (again) but I don't hold much hope I'll actually do it.I'm going to try to be nicer to people and of course visit here as much as I can and also keep reading and viewing LTROI.Also I'm going to keep pushing WTI as well.If they've been infected they need a place to go.I found that out a couple of weeks ago when a guy out of nowhere saw my LTROI T shirt and came up to me and told me it was his favorite Swedish movie.I hope he joins us as he seemed quite passionate about it.Of course I wish all my friends here a very happy new year and all the best for 2018 and beyond.a_contemplative_life wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2018 1:22 pmAnyone got any New Year's Resolutions that they'll actually keep?

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I must remember to smoke more.
I could get more exercise, and I have the weights all laid out on shelves near at hand. I said could. It's not a resolution.
Okay, I resolve to see my doctors and take my meds, which I haven't been very good at. It's not a hard one to keep -- If I continue to neglect my health, it will set the agenda for me. (I can be such a putz.)

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The first week is the hardest, and you absolutely need to track your efforts so you can see proof of accomplishment since your brain will trick you for a while into not seeing or noticing any changes. But speaking as someone who only recently began (last August), the physical and mental wellness that came from it was well worth the first week of toil.dongregg wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 6:06 amI must remember to smoke more.

Encouragement can help, too, so thanks, Sparty!
