Finally got a hold of that Blu steel book.
Great new artwork. Region B, so the multi region player required.

interesting interplay of lines on the front cover. Does it credit whomever did the artwork?

That's an excellent cover, although I admit I don't quite grasp the love of "bloody Eli face." It's a striking moment in the story, but devoid of that context it's a little misleading and can be seen as a generic bloody horror face. The front and interiors are excellent, though.
"The dark is patient, and it always wins. But its weakness lies in its strength: a single candle is enough to hold it at bay. Love is more than a candle. Love can ignite the stars." - Matthew Stover

I quite like the art work on this package...and Eli's bloody face is kind of a brand sign for the film. Not very original, but effective nevertheless.
Unfortunately there's no artist information anywhere on the box...but I'm sure a bit of googling will solve that problem.

Hey.I got the back cover as a poster for Xmas.Wondered where it came from and now I know.I love Eli's bloody little face.Another favorite scene is when he's just killed Lacke and gives Oscar a farewell kiss.Eli's face is all messy and bloody and the blood around his mouth look like kitten whiskers. So cute. :D
Please Oskar.Be me for a little while.
