8PM PST on December 9 is just fine for me. It would be nice if we could have some sort of dry run before hand to make sure we can all link up properly. I assume we're still using Skype?

I'll be at work for most of the afternoon, so hopefully we'll have picked a concrete time so I can rest/prepare accordingly. Might be best to start sending out the Skype invitations now, too, just so we can get on the same page prior to showtime.
As far as the nature of the call goes, text-based would be a little silly (how would you record it otherwise?) and I was operating under the assumption it would be audio. If it's video, or some mixture thereof, I'm still up for it. I'll just have to wear my social face.
