Welcome John Ajvide, I am waiting impatiently the "Let the Old Dreams die".

Just wanted to say "Thanks" for your efforts, StefL; they are greatly appreciated.StefL wrote:OK, I guess some of you may have anticipated this, so here it is - my very quick but hopefully accurate translation of John's text..."

Yes thanks here also. I ran it through google translator and had a hard time understanding what was said. Now I understand.
Re: Seasons greetings from the author
Google translator may be OK for single words or sentences, but using it to translate literary text is probably pretty futile. Even I - as you have noticed - feel the need to add some notes to my translation to explain some things that only native Swedes or someone who has lived here for a long time could understand.jetboy wrote:Yes thanks here also. For me trying to translate text like this is an exercise in my knowledge of English so I actually quite enjoy it. Of course in this case I was a bit stressed since I only saw the text on a Monday morning when I had just come to work and I just "had to" steal 15 minutes of my employer's (and my customer's) time to translate it for you guys
