The thing is that while I can completely love Eli on a literary fictional level, if such a creature existed in real life I'd probably try to kill it with a spade if it threatened me or my kin. :o

At this time, I would just like to reaffirm my deep love and affection for Eli, and to thank her for everything she has done for me.

And I would like to thank him, too. ;)

Eli: My bloody valentine.

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Ripped from 2014:

Dear Eli:
You smell like road kill.
You're not even a girl.
Then why, Valentine,
Is my heart all a-twirl?

Dear Oskar:
If you will be my Valentine,
I will be your…
Oh never mind—
I just won't kill you.

A spade? Nah, what you need is something more up to the job, like a pistol shooting trophy with a good solid base. That's what the experts reach for.

Good point! We even have it straight from (novel) Eli that the thing to get is a couple bottles of T-Röd. So Eli agrees with you. Or, you agree with Eli. - Whichever way you want to go with that.

Man, there are some violent people on this board. I sure hope Eli and Oskar stay safe out there.
