I´m not worried about my infection anymore. I know it will last long. But for some while I have my doubts , if i should remain member /or better "active" member/ of this forum. Because of the feeling , that i don´t belong here very much. Maybe the right solution is not to unnecessary bother this nice place with my presence, and instead to chose more quiet and inconspicuous way of membership.
Why in the world would you think you don't belong here? Just like bread is a staple food, you're a staple member, it wouldn't be the same without you. Plus, the blue vampire girl picture is awesome! It gives your account personality :)

Well said! I understand how you feel though, I've felt the same twice about a forum and another site. I took a break for awhile and then I came back and my mind had cleared. The other site's community was chaos so I'm no longer a part of it, you could hardly have a conversation with anyone. I feel like we have a pretty open-minded, welcoming community here. Maybe take a break for awhile? Of course it's up to you.

true! that would be very sad  i am still quite new here but yours and pete morks posts where one of the main reason i joined here. your fanart is amazing and the "Eli had to do it again"-thread was like first or second thread i posted something and i still cant believe how good this picture is!

Okay, it has only been a year and half for me since I first saw LTROI, but ...

I was randomly flipping through my cable channels last night and, lo and behold, LTROI pops up, near the beginning - Oskar in his stripey in class with the cop. Well, I'll just watch a little bit and go off and read. I ended up watching the whole movie again.

At this point I feel like I am a film editor/sound engineer/lighting director/director/subtitle writer. The framing of shots, sound levels, depth of focus, the choice of English words for the Swedish, even the props chosen for the sets - what are those three things on the shelf while Eli showers and Oskar sits on the couch alone, rabbits? - I ponder these like a film philologist as the movie scrolls on. You know you've seen a movie quite a few times, maybe too many, when you can trace the continuity of the film production by the varying subtleties of the haircut of the protagonist!

Anyway, it still holds a fascination and probably will continue to do so for life, just like "Romeo and Juliet" or "The Bacchantes."
Du luktar konstigt
