Drakkar just pointed out that Lina is right handed, as can be seen in the trailer for Ömheten.

So my thoughts that Lina is left handed and that is why she initially used her left hand to point to the egg are clearly wrong. Oh well. Guess it's a mystery that will never be resolved, unless Lina attends a fan convention and someone asks her about it. :D

It's possible the close-up of the right hand in the following shot had already been done and she needed to match that in the medium shot which would come right before it.
