Tehilla Blad plays the young Lisbeth Salander in the three Swedish adaptations and also in a different Swedish production. I think she has intense enough eyes to be introduced as a threat to Oskar.

He is too old now, but I would have cast Asa Butterfield in the role of Eli after seeing him in Hugo.

If she was younger, Isabelle Fuhrman (who would have been my pick for LMI).

Now my pick would be Kara Hayward from Moonrise Kingdom.

But of course Lina is still the #1 choice.

Aw, where's your sense of adventure? Leandersson was stunning, yes, and maybe even peerless, but surely she's not the only actress on the planet who could turn in an engaging and convincing Eli!

The problem lies on my side in this matter. Lina is ELI. Everyone else are fake. Only a instant and permanent amnesia can change that. ...Maybe.
