I don't cry much, but i have cried while watching let the right one in.
But its not really crying though. I get filled with a special feeling and.. it's so strong that I just can't cry haha. I just get very teary eyed and
the feeling when your about too cry, you know? it's almost as if the film is too special. Crying isn't enough somehow.
Im on the edge of my seat the whole movie and everything is magic and I just can't cry out loud, it's like....there isn't room for that haha ^^
But i think two times after the film, during the credits, ive started crying for real. annnnnd a few times while listening to a song and thinking about LTROI iguess.... ummmm yeah...

It's been so long since I saw the film for the first time that I cannot remember what part affected me this way. However, I do remember feeling sort of "stunned" at the ending. The pool scene interaction between Eli and Oskar and then the final train ride. It was very emotional.

I teared up at Oskar being whipped....simply cause i know from experience how painful it is
I also teared up at the long shot of Oskar finally crying after Eli has left him

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you the exact scenes this happened, but there were definitely a few points when my eyes welled up. As others have stated, the soundtrack can have the same effect, especially 'Eli's Theme'.

Edit: the bloody kiss scene was definetly one of these times.

I cried, not profusely, but teared up at many points, especially when Eli left. I may have been fully reduced to what I call crying when she left and Oskar stared out the window. Though this is me watching it alone. I am able to not cry if need be, which I prefer not to around others, but it dampens the emotional investment I am able to give to this or any other film.

I definitely cried. I sobbed, in fact. I had never been touched my a film like that in my life! The only other film that made me cry like that was "The Boy In The Striped Pajamas". I cried the the first few times i saw LTROI. I still get emotional. This film does NOT get the credit it deserves. In a few years, NO ONE will remember LMI because it is a despicable, useless, unnecessary piece of garbage. LTROI, however will always be a priceless classic. If I step on some toes because of my LMI statement, I apologize, but I am sure you all pretty much know that I am quite passionate in my opinions.

I actually got a bit teary the second time i watched it, not the first. The first, i was just deeply touched. Watching it the second time emotionally drew me in deeper because i was understanding the film a bit better.

The teary parts for me (or the lump in the throat parts) were 'Oskar waking up to the note left by Eli', 'Eli leaving' and pretty much the 'ending' which left me haunted for days.

Ah that's ok ;) Interesting enough, i think the only scene in LMI that almost got me teary was the "do you like me ?" scene, to me it was beautiful within itself. 8-)

I'm so sad I missed this, but I don't have my dvd with me at the moment. Ahh, maybe next time.
