Welcome onboard. And it's good to hear about someone who's just experienced that first "rush" of the film that you got from the first viewing. I've described my experience and the feeling I had after leaving the theatre as having been hit across the chest with a cricket bat (a flat bat that is, not a round baseball one), and that wasn't in a negative sense albeit bitter sweet...
It's been nearly two years now so I've seen the film a few times and it's not quite the same, but nevertheless great - not to mention having gotten to know all the fantastic people on this board.

Oh my god you are in for a treat. :). As much as I love the film, I like the book quite a bit more.

Welcome by the way!

All of the Infected have probably had the curious experience of other people around them just not 'getting it' - yes, it's a very nice film, but what's for dinner, kind of thing. Pity, really...

I've started to wonder if this is in fact a boy's movie, like, say, 'Twiglets' is a girl's movie
hey i'm a woman and i like this movie! (and i hate Twilight and Sex in the City) and there are many other woman around here too me thinks and if not...then they just didn't registered yet :D

oow and a belated welcome Xpher

look at youtube for the soundtrack :-) i did that too and putted Eli's theme between my favourites so i have a direct link to listen to that song while i'm on the computer :)
