Where to find Little Star?

Post by Jessi » Wed Mar 14, 2012 7:22 pm

First of all, hellooooo. I'm new here, obviously, first post and all. Just want to say I absolutely love this forum already, before I joined I just read around in some sections. ;p (And I think it's fantastic JAL even actually has an account on here o.o)

Okay so.. I'm looking for where to find Little Star online. O_O I know Barnes and Noble has it on their site but it won't be available until October 2nd, I think. And gosh, I don't think I can wait that long to read the book. ;__; So does anyone know where to find this? ;o

I'm trying so hard not to read spoilers, ahh. ._.

Hello Jessi! Welcome to te forum! By the use of these: O.o -_- etc.. I bet you're my age!! ;) No matter what age, you'll sure fit in here.
Hm, Little star was translated into american? Last I heard it was first released in Canada, or was that Handling of undead? Kinda confused. Off to Google!!
What do you know, looks like a UK thing here. order it online:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Little-Star-Joh ... 0857385100
Oh, the US too, lucky you!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=as_ ... ative=9325

Haha oh gosh, thank you! xD I'm 15. ;p
Nice to meet you, though <3
Thank you thank you so much for the links *__* I absolutely HAVE to read this book.. and..everything else. So far I've only bought Let the Right One In from Barnes and Noble after begging my dad for a long time, and I am absolutely addicted to John Ajvide's stuff. I can gladly say he's my favourite author. I fell in love with the book and movie. I've read excerpts from Handling the Undead and the plots for Harbor, Little Star, and some others and.. I need it all.
(oh gosh I didn't mean to write that much O_O Anyway..)
I'm going to blow all of my money on JAL books from now on, oh my god. xD But yea. Looks like I'll be begging my dad for LIttle Star now.. ;D

I begged my mom to buy me this LTROI movie analyses book online, I gave her the link on FB and she said she was gona buy it for me, I was smiling for weeks, waiting for it to come in the mail. I asked her about when the book should come, and she answered:
"What book?" I told her about it in panic. "Oh I must have forgotten to buy it." It was limited.. I was mad at them for a week! Yelled at them and everything! Just because of a god damn book. To the infected 8-)
I am 18, a bit older than you. Hmm, I got infected when I was 16 during summer 2010 ;) Long posts I love the most, always looking forward reading them :D

Cover of American edition of Little Star, available for pre-order to be released on October 2, 2012.
Interesting, though not very imaginative artwork.
Either way, it's a must. Great, great novel.

Welcome to Jessi. :)

I am looking forward to the US publication, even though I have the UK edition from Quercus. I am curious to see how well it sells. I think this has the potential to be a best seller for John Lindqvist.

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Wow. That cover is soooo much better than the UK cover. I'm missing it having a wolf motif somewhere, but otherwise I think it's great. I may actually buy a(nother) hardcover when it comes out.

Welcome Jessi. How did you become Infected?
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.
