By a stroke of chance, I came across a zombie novel on the internet. It seemed to resemble one of the HtU covers. It was a book call Rot and Ruin. It is coincidentally about zombies.
Rot and Ruin:
HtU:
Huh.
Wait... what??

Re: Wait... what??
This is obviously the same artwork, but if I'm not mistaken I've seen that same cover on yet another title(which escapes me at the moment).
I thought that maybe it's a particular design that is owned by the book publisher which would technically give them the right to re-use it again and again, but HTU is is from Thomas Dunne Books, while Rot & Ruin is from Simon and Shuster...
It's a mystery....for now!

This is probably well-known and I hope I don't sound like a know-it-all but sometimes they use stock-photos for books.
I've heard they sometimes take an image from years prior, edit it a bit, and use it for their own --- whether it be permitted or not. It's like they assume, "Everyone's forgotten that old novel so let's take that image and buff it up a bit for our own."
But either way, I like both covers. :p
