The "model" is Lina. GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program which resembles Photoshop in many ways. I started messing with it, and that's what happened.

There was a novel some time ago that I don't remember well but whose title I believe was something like "stranger than you think". In it, there was no difference between a witch and a werewolf, a vampire or a hobgoblin. All of these different kinds of "creature" were just different manifestations of exactly the same thing, something that was from Somewhere Else.

Works for me. It's an intriguing image.

Yeah, ain't no two ways about it. She was a really cute kid, and turning into a beautiful young woman, and she already had some acting chops before going into high school. I remember reading that TA spent a year looking for a pair of kids who could act and had chemistry together. One certainly hopes he feels, as most of the rest of us do, that the search was very, very successful.

Of course, people meeting Eli for the first time under a reasonably full moon might find her a bit subtly off-putting...

And I remember being the only forum member who liked the picture, which was in a Falun newspaper along with a nice interview.

Now I have two versions of the image to like.
