And after this also so very sad and moving scene of Eli curling up in this dirty corner of the cellar i promise a much much happier scene the next time...

He is looking at me, silently, expectantly, in the near-dark room, neither smiling nor frowning; gaunt as a Belsen child, proud as the Devil, distant and beautiful as a star. [DMt.]

Another quiet moment for the three of them, in which Quantum Mechanics plays a part.
Notice how relaxed Oskar looks. At this point, he has it all! And it only gets better.
(Thanks, Daniel! You got this one perfect!)
Eli? Can you use your eyes here too? Do the stars look different?”

Vonderful picture!
I try to find difference between Eli and Hanna (without mention the story and who on which mattress lays )
Eli looks thoughtful here, much older than Hanna. And it's fantastic that Daniel conveyed so many emotions and details of the moment in such easy (as it seems at first sight) picture.

Thank you
This one was soooo much fun to draw
one of the most challenging things here to get right where Elis eyes... i gave this scene a lot of thoughts and wondered how her eyes may look like when she does this:
"Eli thought her eyes high up into the highest of the high end of the spectra and then – just a bit more"
so i tought maybe a littel like this:
