my song

Post by Clubmeister » Wed Feb 29, 2012 11:47 pm

Hi, everybody!
Here's my song. Not about LTROI, just a song. I hesitated, where to put it, so it's here.
Thanks David (DMt.) for language help (I tortured him for two months  )
Sorry for accent, I suspect, intrige's pronunciation is better than mine. Video - about nothing, just to make it more fun (some pictures of my homeland, from the last summer).
The meeting
-1-
Tell me about your grief and pain,
Just tell and then forget.
However many days and years,
It's useless to regret.

The evil’s gone so long ago,
We don’t need to complain,
Hello, my friend, - the years have passed,
And we’ve met up again.

-2-
A dusty bottle of old wine
Laid up so long ago,
We'll take to wild, deserted shores
That once we used to know.

And looking at the angry sea
Throwing the sand like flame
Perhaps we'll say the endless road
Has done with us the same

-3-
In taverns 'til the morning star
We'll be where we belong
All faces are familiar,
Together we'll sing songs

We'll play the fool for Lady Luck
Before we have to go,
Then maybe she will once again
Come knocking on the door.
He is looking at me, silently, expectantly, in the near-dark room, neither smiling nor frowning; gaunt as a Belsen child, proud as the Devil, distant and beautiful as a star. [DMt.]

What a perfectly beautiful, heart-warming song! I don't know what else I can say! Words: perfect; Melody: perfect. Vocal: More than perfect.
We never stop reading, although every book comes to an end, just as we never stop living, although death is certain. (Roberto Bolaño)

What? Am I not? XD I haven't thought about that! Seriously, am I really hard to impress to all of you?
You're welcome anyway, it was very VERY good. Would love to listen a LTROI song!!

I think maybe he means just because of the quality you put into fan art and fan fiction, that your stuff is impressive so you might not be impressed by other people. But I think everyone on the site is equally impressed/impressive  :D

Clubmeister, I like your voice, this is a really nice song.
