You might be interested to know that there is a piece of Fan Fiction posted at fanfiction.net that is eerily reminiscent of your "Oskar at 40." He's more like an "Oskar at 40 in the making" in this story, but the anger he expresses, and the dissociation, uncertainty, and unhappiness that Eli experiences, feels familiar.

I second that. Although I can imagine an avenue where the end of the last chapter could bring them closer again. I hope the author continues it and doesn't leave us hanging.

There do some to be some vague resonances, yes. I'd definitely say the author shows some rather keen insight into human nature, and I started reading it with anticipation of being shown things I'd not seen before.a_contemplative_life wrote:You might be interested to know that there is a piece of Fan Fiction posted at fanfiction.net that is eerily reminiscent of your "Oskar at 40." Unfortunately, it quickly devolves into a fascination with vampirism :sigh:

Brilliant, dark fan fiction. Thank you sauvin Maybe the fiction showed the realistic future of Eli and Oskar. I'm sad when i think about it

Bump!
