All good news -- I restored the headings so part 9 would be easier to read.
No one commented on it, so I'll tell you -- Quimet Garcia is based on a former Italian soccer player in Copenhagen. He was asked to take over an Italian class in a community center.
If this sounds familiar, then you saw the delightful film, Italian for Beginners
. Quimet Garcia is an homage to the soccer player and to the film, one of my favorites.
Second good news -- Part 10 concludes Set Me as a Seal upon Your Heart
. After I put in the html codes for italics and boldface, I will submit it to be moderated.
For those who have followed the story for the more than the two years it took to write, I want you to know how much I have appreciated your comments, PMs, and emails. Several members have served as a small writing group that helped keep me on track. And even suggested and contributed content at times. You couldn't buy the dear friends that I have become so close to on our wonderful forum.
Above all, I have had our two vampire munchkins to hang out with.
But every silver lining must have its dark cloud. I have no plans to go forward with Book 3.
