LTROI Halloween ff stories

Even my big brother was sounded scared.

"You are going tonight?"

"Yeah."

"You shouldn't."

"I already got mom's permission."

Besides it would still be daylight.

What was the big deal? It was only for five days. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ten bucks. 50 for the week. It would be enough for the video game I wanted. Not a bad deal for me.

Even at school word got around where I was going that late afternoon.

"They say that he has a monster living up there."

"You here tiny footsteps if you listen carefully."

I was only going to look after a cat.

To discourage me, they begin with the old rumors.

"People have disappear when they go visit him."

[EEA]

"Remember what happened to Mr. Hopkins?"

"Before he disappeared, the last place he visit was his house."

"And so did Mr. Thompson, Mrs. Thomas, and so on."

"Those are just rumors."

"You guys are just exaggerating. Just because some adults have gone missing."

They probably had run away. Most of them had been having family troubles. That what had happened to Mr. Ray. He had disappear for a few days, and he had appear one day as if nothing had occurred.

If I had listen to them.

Now every night I have to check out my window to make sure no one is out there.

Day one 5:00 p.m.

"Just don't go upstairs."

Then I was left with the cat. What could happen in two hours?

I was sitting down when the sounds begin.....

I was startled.

Then a sinister voice said:

"Aren't you going to check upstairs!!!"
