Winter's Cold Breath

Postby covenant6452 » Mon Jan 04, 2010 12:50 am

Here is the story I've been working on over the holidays. My frame of mind has been a little off, so I'm not sure I am happy with it.
Hope some of you like it!

Sounds fine to me.

The Fan Fiction site is getting just awesome.
I can't help viewing this as a part of the discussion threads - here you can try out different futures of Eli and Oskar, and see how it feels.

I've always had thoughts somewhere in the back of my mind about the problems Oskar would have surviving the first winters. Now you just have spelled out loud a plausible path. Oskar becomes so worn down by the cold that the only natural thing to do in the minds of twelve/thirteen years old kids is to have Eli saving Oskar by turning him.

I have added a couple of photos of their hunting grounds in Jämtland below. My apologizes for the sun :D

The photo on the left was just how I envisioned the setting for this one after the storm. Thanks!

It's from Laxsjö, about 100 km north of Östersund. Picture to the right is from somewhere in Härjedalen which is a good 100 km south of Östersund.

the story is awesome :) finally they became eternal lovers, and their love for each other is greatly expressed. Every fanfiction I read here (and I read all of them) is absolutelly beautiful, you have quite a talent, everyone who wrote any fanfiction here :) just keep supplying the site with your wonderfull fan fiction so we all have something to read in the evening

to drakkar: those photos are brilliant, I wish to be in Norway or Sweden some day to see and feel your winter and not only winter, here in my country we usually get about -8 to -15 only in winter, I am simply jealous that I don't live in Scandinavia

And in Norway, Tri orísky pro Popelku (Three Wishes for Cinderella) is on tv EVERY Christmas eve - has been for a couple of decades now - so I can see your winters aren't so bad, either :D

REALLY??? :D How come?? I didn't know, that it is shown abroad (maybe Germany) but now I see Tre notter til Askepott :) , the English translations is probably wrong because oříšky = nuts (not wishes :) ), but in the movie they are obviously "lískové oříšky" = hazelnuts  (but it's not important) and BTW is it dubbed???
