You are right, they would rather flee than fight. Yet it is the inadvertent event of stumbling upon them that could be very dangerous.
Their minds, I think, would work the normal, human way. People don't see what they don't expect, unless the stimulus goes over a certain level. On top of that, they'd be children, with a child's single-mindedness. So even if their ears were capable of hearing Svend's footsteps, their brains would filter this weak signal out and it wouldn't enter their minds.gkmoberg1 wrote:I liked how well Svend was able to follow them without their noticing.
